How it works

1

Upload your videos

Drop up to five clips (MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, MTS). We read each file's recorded date & time automatically — no typing required.

2

Adjust the look

Choose the position, colors, and opacity of the timestamp — or type your own custom date & time. A live preview shows exactly how it will look.

3

Convert & download

We burn the timestamp into each video and hand back a ready-to-use MP4 — one at a time, or all of them together as a .zip.

Your files are never stored. Videos are processed in a temporary folder and automatically deleted — your original upload the moment it's converted, and the finished file within about an hour. No accounts, no database, no cloud storage, and we never view or share your footage. Read our privacy policy →

Frequently asked questions

Do you store or keep my videos?

No. Your upload is deleted as soon as it's processed, and the finished file is automatically removed within about an hour. Nothing is saved to a database or the cloud, and we never view your footage.

What video formats and sizes can I use?

MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, and MTS/M2TS files — up to 200 MB each, and up to 5 at a time.

Where does the timestamp come from?

We read the date & time recorded in your video's metadata and use that by default. Prefer something specific? Switch any video to "Custom" and type your own.

Can I change how the timestamp looks?

Yes — position (any corner or centered), text and background color, and opacity. You can also keep or strip the original audio.

Do I need to install anything?

No — it runs entirely in your browser. For large batches, offline use, and more controls, check out the Investigation Flow desktop app.
